Using the KVM console, we need to configure the default route for the vMX to connect to our lab network. The idea is that the vMX has to go through the lab network, so that we can see the traffic.

The Virtual lab (vMX) is a lab designed for educational and developmental purposes, and it uses a virtual server to host the vMX environment. The lab environment is used for training, performance testing, and other management tasks. The lab environment can be used for Juniper desktop as well as virtual servers.

Now lets get the 2nd vMX up, so we can start configuring it. Lets start by adding the following settings into the first vMX configuration file, vmx2s_domestic.cfg. Note that there is currently no device network interface for the vQFX, there is only a device type for a QFX chassis (DMZ vSwitch) and then a vmnic for each VM.
